Privacy

Your name, email, date of birth, place of birth, current location (optional), and any family details you tell us during onboarding or contribute later. We do not track you across other sites, and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising.

We use your details to match you to the correct branch of the family tree and to let other approved family members know who you are. That's it.

We will never sell your data. We will never share it with third parties for advertising or marketing. We will never train an external AI model on your private family stories. If you leave, we remove your personal data on request.

Approved family members can see the public family tree and contributions. Admin notes are private. Your contact details are only visible to family administrators.

You can see, edit, or delete anything you've contributed at any time. To remove your account entirely, contact a family administrator — we'll wipe your personal data within 30 days and keep only the genealogical facts necessary to preserve the tree's accuracy (your name and relationships, if they're load-bearing for other members' lineage).

This is an early placeholder. A formal privacy policy will replace this before the site goes live for public sign-ups.
